I just have to tell you the reason I picked the image I did for my first card.  I has brought back so many wonderful memories of when I was growing up.
When Arlana, Judi and I were growing up, we lived on a farm.  Our father raised everything imagineable, from every kind of animal to all kinds of birds.  My favorite time of the year was in the spring and summer months when dad would put the eggs in the incubator and we would wait for the eggs to hatch so that he could sell them.  I remember that we could hardly wait for the day to arrive for the first one to start hatching.  We would watch ever day to see their progress.  It was a wonderful experience to watch.  We had baby chicks, gosslings, and ducklings. And, a whole lot more....I raised a baby goose one spring (named Friskie) and it followed me everywhere.  However, I could say that about any of the little ones because they all thought we were their mother.  We would get down on all fours and wonder around the yard with them following behind us.  I will never forget when Arlana was about two and she decided that she wanted some lunch or something and took a bit out of Friskies webbed foot.  Friskie had a hole in his foot from then on.  When he was an adult goose, I could always tell which one he was because of that.  This image of the ducklings reminds me of my youth and I just couldn't resist coloring it up.  The ducks look just like the ones we raised. I used the quilled flower because I could just see the ducks reaching down and nibbling on it. They would nibble at the grass for hours.  These are just a few of my fond memories of my youth.

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 95 AND STAMP FAIRY

Hi everyone, it is that time again.  I just love having Wednesdays roll around.

It has been an interesting week.  I walk every morning before work and Monday I came back to the car and realized I had left my keys in my locked car.
I got a nice little break from work as I had to wait over an hour for the locksmith to come. My friend and I sat on the park bench and soaked up the  sun. It was a nice morning to sit and take a break.  I actually enjoyed every minute of it.
So, here it is Wednesday and it is

"SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY"

Gift Boxes

SCROLL DOWN FOR SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY POST

I have been wanting to show you the gift boxes that I made.  I showed Arlana how to make them while I was in Salt Lake and also made one for Judi.
I got this idea from a dear blog buddy "Terry O" who got the idea from one of her blog friends.  You can find her link on how to make them here.  I just loved it and had to make some up.
The first box is the one I made for Judi and the second one is one I made at home. I hope you enjoy my little creation.

The second box actually has a card on top.  You open it up at the bow to put a message inside.

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 91 AND DI'S DIGI DOWNLOADS

I had quit the day yesterday.  I had to start using a new web based billing program at work.  Instead of the billing taking a half a day to process, it took me from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm last night to finish it.  I am so unimpressed with the improvements this web based company has made to make things easier for our company.  Enough of that...I can't deal with it any longer tonight.  I am just praying now that it actually processed without any errors. Time will only tell.

Well, it is that time again.  I must say that it is the one thing that makes my day!
It is SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY time!!!
I really had a lot of fun creating my card this week with this fun sketch.  I really think it will be one that you will enjoy using too.  You won't be disappointed in the DT creations this week either.  They are fantastic.  So, hop on over and join us.  We would love to see your creations.

Our sponsor this week is
 DI'S DIGI DOWNLOADS.

Diane is offering (5) five digis to our grand prize winner this week.

I fell in love with this image.  Di has some really fun images and backgrounds to work with.  You will have a very difficult time choosing "just one" from her collection.
