My Grand-daughter's Castle Birthday Cake.

I just wanted to share the cake that I made with my daughter for My grand-daughter's birthday. We celebrated her birthday a few days early so that I could be there. We had a great time making it and I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

  1. Oh my goodness!!! WOW!!! And wow some more! That is just amazing! What a cake. I made caramel squares and was delighted with myself now not so much! It's fantastic Nancy. What a lucky granddaughter you have and obviously a very talented daughter too!

  2. Oh my stars!! AMAZING, Nancy! I just love your cakes! This is like the best castle cake any little girl would love - what a great talent to share with your grand children - I know she loved it. You are so utterly talented, it's just amazing! Love this cake!

  3. *Jaw drops* Seriously?!?! This is the best cake EVER!! I would love it for MY birthday cake LOL. Well done to the both of you!!!!

  4. Oh my! I love the turqoise! Oh not only is the best looking cake but the best tasting will take anyone off their diet! Nancy, I'm sure your little grand daughter loved this cake! I will have to try my hand at it next year for Ellie's. Now I might have to buy the turqoise glitter!

  5. Mom, that cake turned out so cute! I bet she loved it! Glad that you had a great time!

  6. Oh Nancy this cake is to die for it is wonderful and I love the colours. I know there's a lot of work put into that. I make and ice my son's birthday cakes as well. They seem to be a little easier as they are boys and don't have so much detail, how hard is it to make Soccer Fields, Thunderbirds, Racing Cars, and Aircraft Carriers oh sometimes I wish I had a daughter and could make pretty cakes and clothes. I made Ryan my youngest sons birthday cake on Friday, he doesn't like Chocolate his favourite cake I make him is a Zesty Lemon cake very mosit and to die for no butter but has natural yogurt and oil in it. I ice it with Cream Cheese and Lemon icing. Let me know if you would like the recipe. Wedding cakes in New Zealand are traditionally fruit cakes but more an more younger people today are having either chocolate or carrot cakes. Because a lot of them don't like the traditional fruit cakes. The fruit cakes have marzipan and then royal icing.
Let me know if you would like that recipe?
    Have a great week Kathie.

  7. OK my jaw just hit the table! You made this!! Oh my word Nancy! You should enter a challenge for cake decorating. I want to see you on Food Network. This is wondeful.

  8. oh wow Nancy! how will you ever top this creation... thinking years down the! lol
