TUESDAY MORNING SKETCHES-BUTTONS AND BOWS

I have really been missing sitting down and making cards. So, this week when I found a couple of valentine stamps in the dollar bin at Joann's, I just had to find the time to make some. Even though it has been late at night or early in the morning it has helped in reducing a little of the stress in my life.
I made this sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches. The theme was to make a card using buttons and bows. Stop on ove r and check Melissa's blog out and join in the fun. Melissa always has some great sponsors and sketches.

RECIPE BOOK

I have needed some sanity in my life and so I finished a project that I needed to have done for the middle of January. Back in October, I commited to help make a recipe book. There are twelve of us making this book. We each have a month of the year that we have picked and enter a recipe that we use during that month. I picked December. I have lots of recipes that I use during this month. However, my family love my Cinnamon Rolls and so this is the recipe that I picked. I normally make them either at Thanksgiving or Christmas or any other time the kids and grand kids can talk me into making them. This year my daughter-in-law wanted them for her birthday instead of a Birthday cake.....so, that is what she got. It really makes me happy that they like them so much.
They are our family's favorite. I hope you enjoy.

Dear Follower's and DT. I have some very difficult things happening in my life right now and probably won't be able to comment as often on your beautiful cards and projects for awhile.
