SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 47 AND BUSY BEAUTIES BOUTIQUE

Here we go.......Sweet Sketch Wednesday time!!! Busy Beauties Boutique is our sponsor this week and is offering (Three) free images to the winner of our challenge. I hope you will stop on by their online store and check out their images. I decided to make two cards this week. I love this little fairy. Her name is: "Spring Blossom Beauties". I used my Copic Markers: E02, YG11, E33, Y08, Y00, YG11, YG03, YG95, YG67, 393, RV42 and RV13. The paper is from Stampin Up and paper from my stash. I used stickles and glitter glue. The Ribbon is from Michaels. The scallop shapes were cut by my Cricut machine. I am going to have to start using it more. I am amazed at the shapes I have in some of the cartridges. The sentiment is digital.
For my second card I used the image: "Chillin Randy".

This sweet little guy reminds me of my little grandson. He turns 3 years old today! Happy Birthday Logan! We are going to celebrate on Saturday with a party at the park. We are hoping for good weather but the odds are not in our favor. We have another storm front coming in.
I used green because that is his favorite color. If he had had his way, I would have had a big number 6 on the front of this little guys shirt. That is his very favorite number!
Once again, I used paper from Stampin Up and DCWV. I used ribbon from Michaels. The Copic markers are: B32, R27, E02, E33, E00 and YG03.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great week and I hope you will join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

The Town Scrapper- Blog Hop-Girlie Challenge (Second Week)

This is a card I made for the second half of The Town Scrapper Blog Hop. It is 10:30 PM and I have been working all night trying to get my work done for my real job...It has been a long night. I wanted to get this posted before I went to bed. I am not as happy with this card as I would like to be. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. I used my sizzix dotted embossing folder. This is a folder I got at the Scrapbooking Expo in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago. The image is another Sarah Kay image from the freekidscoloringandcrafts.com . I used Copic markers and the paper is from DCWV. I popped the image and made the little flower.

Partner In Crime-Anything Goes

This is the second card I have made tonight. I just wanted to relax from a long week at work and so I am card making. One of the gals that is on our design team over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday has started up a challenge blog called: "My Partner in Crime". This is their first challenge. I hope you will stop on over and join Jenny and her friend Robin. Their challenge is called: Anything Goes.

For my card I have used Stampin Up and DCWV paper. Copic markers: BG10, BG72, Y08, E31, E49, RV13, E04 and RV14. I did some stitching around the edge of the card. I wanted to keep this card simple because I wanted to show off the flowered background. For the final touch, I added three bows. Opps, I need to add that you can find this sweet image over at freekidscoloringandcrafts.com.

We had some fun one on one time....can't leave out her brother though...he had to make a card too.

The supplies I used for my card this week are: Paper from Stampin Up and My Minds Eye. Copic markers: E02, E00, E33, BG10, B000, E93, RV42 and RV13. Sizix oval and circle shape cutter. EK Success shape cutter. Digital Sentiment, Ribbon and Brad. And, hand made flower and paper piecing on the skirt and top.

IT'S ALL ABOUT ME CHALLENGE

"It's All About Me" is a challenge blog focusing on one's self. I came across it while visiting Terry's blog, (one of my follow DT partners). I was so touched by the post that she had made that I had to go see what this blog was about. I really enjoyed reading about what others had to say about what their flaws were and how they wanted to improve on their lives. What a great idea for a blog. The challenge this week is to make a layout of yourself expressing on one flaw that you have that you want to improve on. Here is mine:

SELF IMPROVEMENT

FLAW: I have really struggled these past few months with the fact that I allowed myself to focus too much on the things that really didn't matter in my life and not on the things that were really important to me. Maybe it was denial.....of what was to come.. Now it is too late to change anything. I have many regrets and only wish that I could roll back the clock and spend every waking moment with the one I love the most. So, I will do everything I can to spend time with my children and grandchildren. Family is the most important possession we have in this life..Cherish that relationship to the fullest.

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY44 AND THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE

Good morning ladies... Are you ready for another fun week at SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY? I hope so....here we go!!

Our sponsor this week is Tracy from THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE

THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE THREE (3) IMAGES. So, hurry on over and join us in the fun!

I fell in love with this sweet image the moment I saw it. I made two different versions using different color schemes. You can find this sweet gem over at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE.

I really had fun making these cards. I used crystal effects on the merimad and turtle. You really can't tell that I used it in the pictures but it really did make a nice effect on the cards. I used Stampin Up paper and other paper that Arlana had on hand...sorry, I can't remember what it was. I used her border punch, rhinestones, pearls, ribbon and other emblishments.

Thanks Arlana!

I made these cards while visiting my sisters and dad. We had a great time together and actually ended up one day at the Scrapbooking Expo in Salt Lake City. We shopped until we dropped and enjoyed each others company. We really had a great day together!

I hope you enjoy my little creations. Hop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and join us in the fun this week.
