It was super busy this weekend working in my office at home. I got up at 6 a.m. (I can't believe I did this on a Saturday...I have this internal clock that won't let me sleep in.) and I started reorganizing all of my colored card stock. I put all of the card stock in binders by colors. I put each color in a sheet protector. (One binder has blues, one has reds and so forth) This is one of Arlana's ideas and I have been wanting to do it but just haven't gotten around to it. It took me all day.... but now it is done. I am so proud!!! I can finally stand looking at my shelves. I almost know what I have now...what a concept. I just need a nice place to store my 12 x 12 paper and I will be set.

Arlana has a super fun sketch this week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I ended up doing two cards because I loved the sketch so much. It is simple but so fun with the added border around the image.

I just wanted to give a little up date on the Pitbull. The owner brought him home last night. Unbelieveable that a dog has more rights than all the families on our street with small children. One has to wonder.

Paper: Stampin Up, and My Minds Eye.

Hand made flowers and fur for Spikes body.

Copics: RV42, B000, Y15, Y08, G24, E00, E02, YR14, and YG11

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
I hope you are having a wonderful week.
Mine has been a little crazy. On saturday, one of our neighbors was walking his dogs and a Pitbull that lives right across the street from me, attacked one of the little dogs along with bitting the man. I wasn't sure if the little dog was going to survive but luckly after two days in the animal hospital she is back home. She has a torn broken leg and multiple wounds. We have so many children on our street that we are praying that the pitbull will not be allowed to come back home. This is the third time the pitbull has attacked another animal and human in our neighborhood.
Well, enough of that.....lets focus on some fun, happy stuff!!!!
Are you ready for another fun sketch? I have had so much fun with Arlana's sketch this week over at

And our DT have really created some dynamite cards for your enjoyment.

The image I have used for this week's challenge is from the Pixie Dust Studio. This sweet image is called: "Wink Pretends"

Our sponsor this week is: KATHIE from PIXIE DUST STUDIO
And, the prize for the winner of this weeks challenge is: "Two digi's of your choice."

So, hop on over and join us this week. We would love to see your creations!

Except for the image, I pretty well stuck with a monochromatic
aqua color scheme for my card to give it an ocean effect.
I used paper from American Craft Girl and Stampin Up.
The colors I used are from Copics Markers: BG10, YR14, E31, E33, YG11, E00 and B24.
I added Crystal Effects to the water and my little "O" ring for the Life Saver. And of course, the twine for the rope. Three Rhinestones. The ribbon is from some ribbon I got at the Expo a few months ago.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Your comments are really appreciated!!

Well, I survived my first week back to work after a two week vacation. Not too bad considering. While I was gone I was able to connect to my computer at work through the remote connection and work the days that I needed to so that I didn't get too far behind...I know, that doesn't make it a real vacation, but that is the best I can do to get some time away from work. So, this week I was able to get caught up on things pretty fast.

I love the sketch this week over at SWEET SKETCH SWEDNESDAY. I hope you will check and out and join us. It is a really fun one to work with. Arlana really cooks up some fun sketches for us to work with each week. This week's sponsor is Diane over at

I fell in love with this sweet image...I think you will love it too! The name is: "First Day Out"
the winner of this weeks drawing will win: five (5) digis. I hope you will join us!!!

Paper: Stampin Up and My Minds Eye

Another Grand-daughter's Birthday Cake

I thought maybe I should post my other grand-daughter's birthday cake. I don't want to leave she out. She has loved Tinker Bell from the time she started walking...maybe even before that. She calls her "Neenee".
She was so delighted to have Tinker Bell for her cake.
