I just wanted to share the cake that I made with my daughter for My grand-daughter's birthday. We celebrated her birthday a few days early so that I could be there. We had a great time making it and I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you enjoy.

I just got back in town Sunday morning at 2 am...what a long day flying. It was really hard to come home. I had such a good time. My daughter and I spent the first week making the curtains, bumper pads, blankets, receiving blankets, sheets and pillows for the baby's room. It turned out so cute. I wish now I had thought about taking pictures. We got it all set up and it is adorable, ready for the arrival of their son.
That was our number one goal....next, we spent the two weeks potty training my grand-daughter. That took both my daughters and my full attention 24-7. Wow, what a strong willed little gal. She knows what she wants and it wasn't being potty trained. But, we prevailed!!! Thank heavens for sticker charts and rewards...

Well, here is my card for the week. Hope you enjoy!!
I really like this image. She seems so confident and sure of herself. And, just like the paper in the background, "I can do anything and I follow my heart, I am brave and I am a friend"... What a great motto.
Have a great week everyone!!!

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY57 and DIGI DOODLE SHOP
Hi everyone out there in blogland!
It is Sweet Sketch Wednesday time!!!
I sure hope you will join us this week for our challenge.
I had so much fon creating these card this week. Our sponsor has some adorable images and I just couldn't resist coloring up the three below.
Our sponsor is: DIGI DOODLE SHOP
They are offering a $10.00 gift card to our luck winner this week. So, come on over and join in the fun.
When I first started working on my card for this week, I was only going to do the
"Sleeping Infant"
My daughter is having a little boy in October and I felt this would be the perfect image to color up.
My daughter is having a little boy in October and I felt this would be the perfect image to color up.
Then I saw the little boy image and fell in love with it. I can't even begin to tell you how much he looks like my grandson..so I decided to let you be the judge. Here are some pictures of my grandson. I tried to get the same side profile and was going to have him dressed in overalls, but we didn't get that done in time. So, here he is in his jeans and t-shirt.
So, what do you think?
My son-in-law asked me if I drew the image. When I told him no, he couldn't believe that someone else drew a image that look just like our grandson.
I got such a kick out of this image..and so has everyone else in my family.
