I received this blogger award from Sharon Basel.  She is on the Design Team with me over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I have loved Sharon's style from the moment I saw her first card. She does beautiful work and is an amazing artist.  Thank you Sharon, for giving me this award.   

One of the things that I am suppose to do is to name eight things about myself.

1. I work full time as the Business Operations Manager for a In-home Care Agency for the elderly.

2. I have four wonderful children.  Three girls and one boy. 

3. I have (9) grandchildren  and (1) great grandson.  (I am not as old as that makes me sound!)

My grand-children are the delight of my life.  And I love every moment I that I am around them. 

4.  Married for 41 years.....not too bad.  Many people don't make it that long. 

5.  I have three brothers and 2 sisters.  My sisters are my best friends!!!

6.  I don't have any pets.  I couldn't stand leaving them home alone. 

7.  I love all kinds of crafts.  My passion is making wedding cakes.  You can see some of them on my blog.  I make quilts, jewelry and anything else I can dabble in. 

8.  I enjoy swimming and walking.  I use to be a jogger and have won a few races in the past.

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 82 AND BUGABOO

Good morning everyone.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I spent Christmas with my children and grand-children.  Most of them anyway.  We had a wonderful week together.  I also had a wonderful suprise from one of my blog friends and former DT member...."Terry".  She sent me the sweetest Christmas card.   It brought tears to my eyes to know that she would remember me and remember what took past last year at this time.  "A great big hug to my sweet friend".  I really appreciate all of my blog friends and DT members.  Each one of you have brought a ray of sunshine in my life this year and it has meant so much to me.  It has really been a difficult year for me and I hope that next year will be a little better.  It is such a joy to be able to share our talents together and our joys and sorrows.  

I want to wish each one of you a blessed New Year.  

It is hard to believe that the year is almost over.   I would love to have things slow down just a little bit.  Have you set a New Years Resolution....??? I haven't even thought about it yet.  If you have, leave me a comment.  I would love to know what it is.

Wow, can you believe it is Wednesday again.  Where did this last week go to?  I feel like I am on a roller coaster ride trying to get everything ready for Christmas.  I hate to say it, but I don't even have my Christmas tree decorated yet, or my baking done for that matter.  I am so envious of Arlana.  Isn't her tree just beautiful?
