Well, Santa is on a well earned break until next year.  He is resting up and taking a sunny vacation.

I won this set of images over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog a few months ago.
I thought this image is perfect to use after Christmas.  Santa has done a wonderful job visiting all the little boys and girls around the world and now he needs a vacation.  I wish I was enjoying the sun like he is right now.

The Reason for the Season

This image has always been one of my favorite images from Bugaboo.  I have to color it up every year.   I love the simplicity but also the beautiful meaning behind it.

And, In light of what has happened in Newtown, Conn. I want to extend my love and prayers to those that lost loved ones.  It is so difficult to even comprehend.  Tears come to my eyes everytime I see a child or think about this horrible act of evil.  I hug my kids and my grand kids a little tighter.  I pray each day that the families that lost their precious family member will be able to find peace in all the madness.
