My Grand-daughter's Castle Birthday Cake.

I just wanted to share the cake that I made with my daughter for My grand-daughter's birthday. We celebrated her birthday a few days early so that I could be there. We had a great time making it and I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

  6. Oh Nancy this cake is to die for it is wonderful and I love the colours. I know there's a lot of work put into that. I make and ice my son's birthday cakes as well. They seem to be a little easier as they are boys and don't have so much detail, how hard is it to make Soccer Fields, Thunderbirds, Racing Cars, and Aircraft Carriers oh sometimes I wish I had a daughter and could make pretty cakes and clothes. I made Ryan my youngest sons birthday cake on Friday, he doesn't like Chocolate his favourite cake I make him is a Zesty Lemon cake very mosit and to die for no butter but has natural yogurt and oil in it. I ice it with Cream Cheese and Lemon icing. Let me know if you would like the recipe. Wedding cakes in New Zealand are traditionally fruit cakes but more an more younger people today are having either chocolate or carrot cakes. Because a lot of them don't like the traditional fruit cakes. The fruit cakes have marzipan and then royal icing.
Let me know if you would like that recipe?
    Have a great week Kathie.
