SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY57 and DIGI DOODLE SHOP

Hi everyone out there in blogland!
I sure hope you will join us this week for our challenge.
I had so much fon creating these card this week. Our sponsor has some adorable images and I just couldn't resist coloring up the three below.
Our sponsor is: DIGI DOODLE SHOP
They are offering a $10.00 gift card to our luck winner this week. So, come on over and join in the fun.
When I first started working on my card for this week, I was only going to do the
"Sleeping Infant"

My daughter is having a little boy in October and I felt this would be the perfect image to color up.
Then I saw the little boy image and fell in love with it. I can't even begin to tell you how much he looks like my grandson..so I decided to let you be the judge. Here are some pictures of my grandson. I tried to get the same side profile and was going to have him dressed in overalls, but we didn't get that done in time. So, here he is in his jeans and t-shirt.

So, what do you think?

My son-in-law asked me if I drew the image. When I told him no, he couldn't believe that someone else drew a image that look just like our grandson.
I got such a kick out of this image..and so has everyone else in my family.
Then, Arlana and Judi asked if I would do the "Violet" image too. I love violets....so here it is.
I hope you enjoy my creations this week. I had a whole lot of fun doing them.

  1. Oh Nancy I adore both of your lovely cards. Yes that little boy does look like your grandson would love to see him in his overalls as well. I really can see what you mean. The Violets are so pretty I might have to buy that image. I loved working with the Pansies image, I wanted the Strawberries but was glad I got the Pansies now. Take care and have a great week. You're so very talented and your coloring is just awesome! Yes, that little baby card will be so nice for your daughter - makes it all fun to have boys looking at that card! That card of the little on in overalls reminds me of my grandson, Danny (he's 4). I'll have to get that image and send him a card. Yes, it looks like your son too! Nancy, do you draw? 10. Hi Nancy. The baby card is so precious. I have a doll that looks almost like this. She's sleeping in the same position. Such a sweet card. Now as for the other, I could swear that you had the image drawn of your grandson. It's amazing the similiarity. I'm not sure which one is cuter though... I think it's probably your grandson! :0)
