Oh Nancy, your card with thank you Lenny is just beautiful!! I love the way you popped the flower and then accented with a handmade flower in the prettiest yellow I have seen!! Love all the detail you put into this card. I too have to ask where do you find the time to do all you do??? But I can't wait to see this quilt, I have been looking at pattern and thinking of giving it a try as I just love beautiful homemade quilts, I have two that I cherish that were made for me, one when my youngest was born and another that I had asked to be made. Any hints on an easy pattern for a beginner?
ReplyDeleteOh Nancy, I love that sweet iamge great mind think alike. The handmade yellow flower is just so perfect. I really love the look. Your colors are just too fun. Thanks for all you do to help me out. Chat with you tonight. Love ya Arlana
ReplyDeleteI think as sisters we think so much alike as we all adored this image and if we hadn't conversed we would have created with the same image. I always love your flowers. And I am glad you added extra photos as I couldn't tell that you had popped the daisy! I love the added deminsion. What a fun bright, cheery birthday card! One of your grand daughters willl love it! Looking forward to talking with you tonight. I don't think we will be as tired as we were last night!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, your card is so beary adorable! Love the soft colours and the gorgeous flower, such a beautiful mix of colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog visit, hope you have a wonderful weekend Nancy!
Oh my goodness Nancy - I'm loving that gorgeous handmade flower. Please tell me how you've done it-it's so perfect here-love that pop of yellow. So glad for all the pictures because I would have missed the layering of the daisy-also a perfect touch. Your teddy bear is adorable with his rosy cheeks.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your quilt - that's one craft I haven't tried (even though I've sewn for years and years. I know the minute I would get wrapped up in all the gorgeous fabrics out there I would buy them all and then would have no where to live in my house!)
Hugs,
Sharon
