Sweet Sketch Wednesday123-57 and Sassy Cheryl's

Good morning and Happy SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY!
It has been quit the week this past week.  After getting home from my daughter's house, my little grand son got the croup and ended up in the hospital for three days.  One of those days just happened to be his birthday. The nurses and Doctor did everything possible to make sure the little guy had a nice birthday even though he had to be there instead of home.  He is finally home now and is doing a little better.  They still have to do the breathing treatments daily, but at least he is back home.

Our sponsor this week is SASSY CHERYL'S.
and, Cheryl is offering our GRAND PRIZE WINNER
a $5.00 Gift Certificate.

Here is our lovely sketch.  Arlana has brought back one of our previous sketches.  It is one of my favorites.  I am sure you will love it too.

The image I used is called "Overload at school"

I have used Stampin Up and Creative Imaginations paper.
Copic markers
I have popped the little boys hair, shirt, books and apple.  It is hard to see it in the picture but it actually, turned out really cute to do it that way.

  1. Hi Nancy thank you for your lovely comments, William is a lot happier today and has gone into the office. Well if it doesn't rain here it pours. I still think he's in a little shock as he fell asleep at 6pm last night and slept for just over an hour and we couldn't wake him. He got up and had some dinner.
Great minds think a like. I just love this image and as soon as I saw it I knew what I would do with it. I love your boy especially your colours and that wonderful design paper you've used works perfectly especially with the apple in the most perfect place. Great job. Take care hope your well and not working too hard.
    Hugs always

I love your card. The way your paper is squared behind the image is so pretty and love the paper piecing, I really like doing that and the dimension is gives.
Enjoy your weekend and talk with you soon.

  9. Gosh Nancy - you've found the most perfect papers to pair with this cute image. I love the effect and dimension of popping up the hair -a terrific touch. Hope your grandson is doing better now. How frightful for him, especially being held captive in the hospital on his birthday - not easy for anyone, let along a young boy! Thinking of you...
    Hugs,
    Sharon :)
