SSW178 and The Doodle Garden

I just got back from a wonderful trip to New York.  It was so fun to hold my brand new grand-daughter and spend time with my daughter and her sweet family.
My new grand-daughter is beautiful.....yes, I am a proud grandma!!
When I left New York on Monday morning, I was really lucky to be ahead of the worst part of the storm.  And, one of the lucky ones that didn't have their flight canceled.  I think that was because I was flying west.  It was incredible to look back in the plane and see the masive cloud cover I was leaving behind.  The storm was huge.
All in all, it was really hard to come home.  I went back to work today and really had jet lag.  I really need to go to bed early tonight.

Most of all, my prayers go out to those that have been affected by Sandy.

I'm Jennifer L Nilsson (but please, call me Jenn or Jenna!). And I am blessed to be able to work full-time from home as a licensed artist.

I enjoy creating bright whimsical pieces for manufacturers, but also wanted to be able to offer something to those who like to craft. So I have begun my journey with digistamp designs with my Etsy shop: The Doodle Garden.

Boy, this last week has certainly gotten away from me.  So much to do and so very little time to do it in. 
I couldn't resist the image I have used for my card this week.  Stella really makes me smile.  And now, the sentiment has a whole new meaning to me.  One that I won't share on my post.  But. I am sure that most of us have had a time in our life were we can say "If the broom fits, Fly It!!"

This image reminded my of my grand kids this summer selling lemonaide. One warm summer day, my grand-daughter and grandson came to me and asked if I had any lemonade mix. They wanted to sell lemonade to all the neighbors on our street. So, I gave them a great big can of lemonade mix that I had.   Now, it is also grandma's duty to buy drinks from them throughout the day even when I provided the mix in the first place.   Hee, hee, Oh how I love my grandkids.
